We are committed to making this website accessible to everyone. David Mordechai – Designed Ketubot strives to provide a website that is accessible to people with disabilities, in accordance with the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law (1998) and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 2013.
Accessibility standard
The site complies with Israeli Standard 5568 — Web Content Accessibility, Level AA, corresponding to the W3C WCAG 2.0 Level AA guidelines, to the extent practicable.
What accessibility features are available?
Every page on the site shows an accessibility button in the corner. Clicking it opens a menu where you can: increase or decrease text size, enable high contrast or dark mode, switch to grayscale display, highlight links, switch to a more readable font, enlarge the cursor, pause animations, skip to main content (via Tab key), and reset all preferences. Your preferences are saved in your browser and applied automatically on your next visit.
Browser and screen reader compatibility
The site has been tested with the latest versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. It has also been tested with the NVDA screen reader, and compatibility is expected with other modern screen readers.
Areas not yet fully accessible
The ketubah images on this site are original works of art — alternative text describing each one has been added. In some isolated cases, alt text may not be present yet, and we are working to complete this.
